The first leg of the Philippine Azkals vs Kuwait Al-Azraq World Cup qualifying match, held on July 23, 2011 at the Mohammad Al Hamad Stadium in Kuwait, ended with the score 3-0 in favor of the Kuwaiti team.

The two teams will again face off on July 28 for the second leg of their match. It will be held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila, Philippines. Their aggregated scores will determine the winner and who will advance to the next round of the 2012 Brazil FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
