
PALAWAN UNDERGROUND RIVER won in the national qualifiers category and now Philippines bet on the New7Wonders of Nature race worldwide in the second phase of voting.
From the list of 28 finalists, the seven winners of the global voting will be announced on November 11 and Philippines bet is currently in the No. 7 spot from No. 11 and still continuous to be aggressive in getting the No. 1 slot in the latest result of the worldwide voting.
Malacañang also calls all Filipinos to continue voting for our entry and still have at least three and a half months to vote for the PPUR.
Smart, Sun and Globe subscribers can cast their votes for the PPUR by texting PPUR 15 to 2861. Votes can also be cast through the New 7 Wonders of Nature website www.new7wonders.com/.

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 km north of the city of Puerto Princesa in Palawan province.
The navigable underground river stretches at 8.2 kilometers. It winds through a cave before flowing directly into the South China Sea.
It includes major formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and several large chambers.
The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. The underground river is reputed to be the world's longest.
At the mouth of the cave, a clear lagoon is framed by ancient trees growing right to the water's edge.
